Extensive Clinical Experience Since 2011
Over a decade of hands-on clinical experience and collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals has given Philip an unusually broad range of experience working with the human body. His first decade in practice was spent working in-house in sports-medicine clinics under the direct supervision and collaboration of sports-medicine doctors, where he worked closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team while seeing a wide variety of structural, orthopedic, neurological, sports-related, and injury-related conditions.
Since beginning his practice in 2011, he has worked directly with people presenting with a wide variety of conditions and physical challenges. This extensive firsthand experience has allowed him to see how different conditions affect the body, how the body compensates around injury and restriction, and how these patterns can influence posture, movement, and the body's overall organization.
Few practitioners develop this breadth of hands-on experience. Philip's years of working directly with physicians, sports-medicine professionals, chiropractors, physical therapists, and other practitioners have exposed him to an unusually wide range of presentations. His first decade of practice provided an especially valuable clinical environment because he was working alongside and under the direct supervision of sports-medicine physicians rather than practicing in isolation. This gave him the opportunity to learn from physicians while simultaneously developing his own hands-on understanding of how different injuries and conditions present in the body.
That depth of clinical experience continues to inform how he evaluates the whole-body patterns he sees in each individual client.
